Solid so far!
Installed on 6/7/20. Took about an hour and twenty minutes to assemble and get hung. Overall, very easy to get set up although the directions I think left a piece out or 2 as I was proceeding. The fixture is very nice but I'd say the blades could be a little nicer. We have very high ceilings so I doubt people will be able to see the blades anyway though. The easy feature of changing frequency came in very handy as I installed a total of 6 fans in the house and each preset remote was the same frequency, was somewhat entertaining to have fans randomly turning off and on while changing 1 fan setting!

    We've tried a handful of DC motor fans after growing tired of hearing the constant humming of our others (some as new as 1 year old). The price is steep for an known brand name, but I've gone through 2 Fanimation fans that sounded like helicopters and constantly clicked, defeating the purpose of a quiet motor.

    Light is bright, quality is solid. These fan is quite large and the rod it comes with is rather long, placing the fan lower than some might want if installed in a bedroom. The large blades push air very well and it cools down our bedroom quickly. Installation might be tricky for those not experienced with installing fans, as the instructions aren't thorough.

    All in all I'm very happy with this fan, especially after the long hunt for a truly quiet DC fan.

    The media could not be loaded.
    We redid a family room in our very old house. I’m in the middle of adding smart lighting and some other smart devices. We wanted a nice big fan and the big box stores just didn’t have what we wanted so we went to a lighting store. This exact fan was selling for $800+ so I took a flyer on buying it from Amazon.

    Got the package very quickly even ahead of the initial scheduled delivery date which was awesome. Box and fan were in excellent shape so thank you Amazon!

    When I went to install the fan the directions were lacking a lot of information. I’m an experienced DIYer and this was probably my 20th ceiling fan so it wasn’t a problem but it might have been if I were inexperienced. If you are buying and are inexperienced just have some help with you and you can handle it.

    But the fan is beautiful and works super well. Mine needed no adjusting at all with absolutely no wobble on high. Light is nice. Dimming and fan speeds are all responsive. And the use of the Alexa integration is pretty fun.

    One side note the 10” down rod was too long for me so I used a 4” which was perfect and allowed me to still use all the decorative covers with the fan. The down rod I purchased was $3 so not a huge expense either.

    I would recommend and I will buy another Minka Aire fan especially a smart one again!

    We redid a family room in our very old house. I’m in the middle of adding smart lighting and some other smart devices. We wanted a nice big fan and the big box stores just didn’t have what we wanted so we went to a lighting store. This exact fan was selling for $800+ so I took a flyer on buying it from Amazon.

    Got the package very quickly even ahead of the initial scheduled delivery date which was awesome. Box and fan were in excellent shape so thank you Amazon!

    When I went to install the fan the directions were lacking a lot of information. I’m an experienced DIYer and this was probably my 20th ceiling fan so it wasn’t a problem but it might have been if I were inexperienced. If you are buying and are inexperienced just have some help with you and you can handle it.

    But the fan is beautiful and works super well. Mine needed no adjusting at all with absolutely no wobble on high. Light is nice. Dimming and fan speeds are all responsive. And the use of the Alexa integration is pretty fun.

    One side note the 10” down rod was too long for me so I used a 4” which was perfect and allowed me to still use all the decorative covers with the fan. The down rod I purchased was $3 so not a huge expense either.

    I would recommend and I will buy another Minka Aire fan especially a smart one again!

    We had bought a more expensive fan and had to return it because it wasn't balanced. This was half the price and beautiful! Very powerful too.
