I have installed a few around the house now. The style is great, much better than anything at the box stores. The quality is great too. The longest running one in the house now is over two years. I have not had the whining problem a few have complained about. They move a lot of air, and are much quieter than any of the fans I've had previously. They're easy to put together and install, maybe an hour if that. Someone complained that the blades are plastic. Because of the round configuration, I wouldn't want wood. Wood bent in that shape would warp over time. They look like wood and very aesthetically pleasing.
Can't really say much more, except buy the wall switch as well.

If you are going to purchase this fan, make sure you can get it installed right away so you can return within 30 days. If it is noisy and poor quality like ours, the company that sells them through Amazon does not handle warranty issues, so returning it quickly is your only recourse. We were in construction and not able to install right away. Now it has significant motor hum and a steady clicking sound inside the motor housing that makes it hard to sleep with. Can’t return, so will be buying something better. Would not recommend this brand or buying this type of product through Amazon at all.

Aesthetically, it looks great with my bedroom decor/colors. I would say the faux wood finish is not great, but not bad. I was hesitant to order another Minka fan because the last one is down to one speed and it would be more expensive to order a replacement part and have it repaired (which may be the idea). So far, I have only used the low speed at night. It's been perfect for southern CA weather. The sound is a bit louder at medium speed, and it freaked me out a little because it sounded like it might come apart. It was professionally installed by a trusted electrician, so maybe I'm expecting too much. But the remote works great and if there is a problem at higher speeds, I will revise my rating.

We had an electrician install the fan - it was done perfectly and works really well. The size is perfect for our bedroom which has a low ceiling - the joys of an older home - the bigger version would have been too big. While the fan made a “ticking “ noise in the beginning it has now settled down and the fan runs very quietly. Highly recommend this fan.

We had a ceiling fan working for one week when it started making rattling sounds. I contacted the seller, they replaced the motor part which did not look brand new when it arrived. Afterward, the fan was working noiselessly for about ten days. It has since been making humming sounds when in use which is irritating as I am a light sleeper and can hear it. My 2 messages to the seller have been completely ignored as they do not respond or honor the warranty.
Very disappointed in the product and service - I believe a $700 ceiling fan merits better customer service!
