The casing of the fan is warped! The mounting area of the blades is mounted incorrectly. The fan is defective and minka has no reasonable solution. I had the fan installed and only then could you see the defective mount. So I’m out my installation fee and what it would cost to take it down and return. Very bad business policy!!!

Don't waste your time like I did. Half a day assembling, installing, uninstalling, disassembling and re-boxing. I have much better things to do with my time. Minka-aire is permanently off my list.
