This is a high quality ceiling can, and I selected it for the flush mount capability, color (I chose black), diameter (it’s above my king sized bed), and the air flow (more than 6,000 cfm). The installation is straight forward and easy. Little features like the safety hanging cable make it easy to perform the overhead work. There is an ample amount of room in the housing for the receiver and electrical connections. Operationally, it’s very quiet with a little bit of swoop-swoop noise at the highest speed but it’s not annoying. It moves a significant amount of air and I find that I operate it at the mid-speeds most of the time. The light is nice with dimming capability. The remote is basic and suffices. What I really like is the WiFi feature using the Bond app. Controlling the fan with the Bond app is much better than using the remote. ADVICE: setting up the app was a little challenging until I researched it further. Be sure to hold the power button (with the square on it) on the hand held remote down for 10 seconds to force the fan to show up as a WiFi network in your cell phone settings in order to initially join it. After that follow the instructions and it will eventually connect through your own WiFi. This fan is on the higher end of the price range, but the Bond app is what sets it apart and makes it all worthwhile. All things considered I consider it to be a good value (I paid $450) because it checked every box for me.
