The Varaluz Lighting Company 901M01 Banana Leaf Collection Light Mini-Pendant design was originally created for an ocean side hotel in South Beach. This family indulges your tropical fantasy. What could be better than warm weather and balmy breezes. This nature inspired collection is sure to keep those vacation memories alive. The 901M01 can be placed over your kitchen island as a focal point with its torn palm banana leaf design, or anywhere a narrow pendant might be needed for that dramatic touch with its island flair. Varaluz can meet the lighting needs of your interior environment with a variety of different fixtures for many tastes with the style-conscious consumer in mind. The 901M01 measures 9-Inch wide by 19-Inch tall, and uses one 100-watt medium base incandescent bulb which can be dimmed using a standard incandescent dimmer. For a more energy efficient, non-dimmable option, use a medium base CFL bulb (sold separately). This interior fixture is UL listed for a hardwire connection in a dry location. This item is sold one per package and comes with all the mounting hardware, 10-feet of chain, plug cord with a swag hook, and one recycled steel banana leaf shade. Our products are good for the earth, as well as for your living room. Innovative ways are found to apply recycled materials to our designs, reducing our footprint on the earth. Ecoluz recognizes the use of recycled elements in this fixture. Remnants of materials not used at stone factories are collected and adopted by us, 70 percent or more of our iron material is recycled content, recycled glass is salvaged from various glass factories and used, and reclaimed wood is being used, and collected only from companies that support the Tropical Timber Treaty of 1994. Varaluz is the exact opposite of any lighting company you've ever known.
