I have several of these on an enclosed front porch. The porch gets a lot of traffic and the rugs do get dirty from us tracking in dirt and sand. They vacuum well. We did wash some with a garden hose. They came out clean but took a long time to dry on pavement in the sun. We finally hung them over lawn furniture so both sides were exposed to air. I also have several of them in the beige color in our master bathroom. They obviously stay cleaner inside. I love the pattern.

Bedroom
For a bedroom, the rug should be placed under two-thirds of your bed and try to allow at least 2’ to 3’of the rug to show on each side of the bed. The rug should anchor the room’s largest piece of furniture. You can also decide if you want nightstands to be on the rug or stop before the nightstand’s front legs. If the rug is big enough, all legs of the bed should be on the rug.
Dining Room
In a dining room, the rug needs to be big enough to fit the table and chairs. Your rug should extend at least 24” past all edges of the table to avoid chairs getting caught on the edge of the rug.
Living Room
For larger living rooms, it’s best to be able to comfortably fit all your furniture on the rug. For smaller living rooms that require the furniture to be against a wall, it’s best to choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of all of the furniture to rest on it.
Patio or deck
A patio is like an outdoor living room so the same guidelines apply. For larger patios, you want to comfortably fit all of your furniture on the rug and for smaller ones, it’s best to choose a rug large enough for the front legs of all of the furniture to go on it.

| Product Care Instructions | Vacuum regularly. Do not use beater brush. If long ends appear do not pull. This is not a defect. It is a normal occurrence in Hand Tufted rugs and is easily remedied using scissors to trim the sprouted section even with the rug. Sponge spots clean. To clean full rug, gently rinse with a solution of mild detergent and water. Hose rug clean, lift off ground and allow to dry thoroughly. Reducing exposure to rain and moisture will prolong rug life. Use of a rug pad is recommended. |
