Bedroom

For a bedroom, the rug should be placed under two-thirds of your bed and try to allow at least 2’ to 3’of the rug to show on each side of the bed. The rug should anchor the room’s largest piece of furniture. You can also decide if you want nightstands to be on the rug or stop before the nightstand’s front legs. If the rug is big enough, all legs of the bed should be on the rug.

Dining Room

In a dining room, the rug needs to be big enough to fit the table and chairs. Your rug should extend at least 24” past all edges of the table to avoid chairs getting caught on the edge of the rug.

For larger living rooms, it’s best to be able to comfortably fit all your furniture on the rug. For smaller living rooms that require the furniture to be against a wall, it’s best to choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of all of the furniture to rest on it.

    Worse rug EVER! Purchased this for our new home in Florida. Had renovations going on so didn’t put rug down for 2 months. After having the rug in place for 1 month, it began to pill & had several threads sticking out of it. This is in a low traffic area & only wore slippers on it. The rug is pretty but very terrible quality. I started by contacting Amazon & was told since more than 30 days, they could not help. They gave me manufacturers info & suggested contacting them. Their customer service dept is a joke. They never answer & put you in an endless loop of messages. This went on for days until I finally reached a general operator who told me to email. no reply! Called again & operator said they had email & would reply. No contact ever! I called operator again who said they would contact Amazon. I said Amazon sent me to them. Obviously Just a stall tactic They are a joke and I suggest never buying a thing from them. They do not stand behind their products at all. This rug is an embarrassment. The worse quality I have ever seen with no regard for their customers. Do not buy!
