Bedroom

For a bedroom, the rug should be placed under two-thirds of your bed and try to allow at least 2’ to 3’of the rug to show on each side of the bed. The rug should anchor the room’s largest piece of furniture. You can also decide if you want nightstands to be on the rug or stop before the nightstand’s front legs. If the rug is big enough, all legs of the bed should be on the rug.

Dining Room

In a dining room, the rug needs to be big enough to fit the table and chairs. Your rug should extend at least 24” past all edges of the table to avoid chairs getting caught on the edge of the rug.

For larger living rooms, it’s best to be able to comfortably fit all your furniture on the rug. For smaller living rooms that require the furniture to be against a wall, it’s best to choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of all of the furniture to rest on it.

I needed to replace a worn, large solo colored rug and decided on this one-it arrived in a single roll, which is great as I've had carpets in the past folded and the folds in larger rugs can be harder to remove. Photo is upon unwrapping so it isn't yet totally flat, but nearly so. This color was the Sarai Red, and if you are looking for a true red I would not call it that. This is a beautiful color though, more akin to burnt orange, and I actually love it as it goes well with the oak trim in the room. If you have other browns in the room it may be a good match for you. Just know this is not going to be a bright red. I am impressed with the softness of the rug as many rugs at this price point or in big box stores have a harsher, sometimes almost plastic-y feel. This is smooth and soft and has greater detail than many of those options. It is one of the softest rugs that is not a shag type rug I have had, feels great on the feet. If using on hardwood you may want an undercover although upon trying it I did not have an issue with slippage. That may vary based on your floor type and size of rug, this one has some heft to it due to the larger size. States it is machine woven in Egypt on the back. Really impressed thus far. Will see how it wears with time, but love how it makes the whole room look more pulled together.

    I love the colors and pattern of this stunning runner rug. I would LOVE to have this in a much larger size, and maybe I will someday. This rug is made of polypropylene, so it should last forever, and it's low pile and power-loomed.

    This rug has a gorgeous pattern of ivory leaves and flowers on a red background with brown accents and could go anywhere in your home as long as it didn't clash with red. The red in this rug is a gorgeous, deep shade of red, and the ivory leaves make a graceful pattern.

    My own personal rug - this one - is presently topped with a very large yellow Labrador who, like me, doesn't like walking or lying on our faux hardwood floors. Now he thinks every rug in the house belongs to him. This rug is very soft and comfortable, or he wouldn't be there, and it feels great on my feet.

    Care instructions: "Vacuum regularly. Clean spots with dry powder cleaner according to manufacturer instructions. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended." I've already written myself a note to remind me never to put this rug in the washing machine.

    Excellent product, an elegant, beautifully patterned runner rug that measures 1'11" x 7'6". It's not as wide as my other runner rugs, but it's much longer, so there is that. The pattern of ivory leaves on this red background, with brown accents, is gorgeous and so graceful. This is definitely a top-quality rug and one we'll enjoy for a long, long time.

    This is a really beautiful rug. When I first opened it, there was no smell and it unrolled very easily. The rug is thin but it does feel very durable. The rug is nicely woven and there are no loose threads. The designs in this rug are also very nice looking and it really matches the decor in my house. This rug is literally its own centerpiece. It stands out when you walk into the room. I have this rug on the floor and so far, it does not seem to slide when you walk on it. Overall, this is a nice rug and the color and design of the rug really stands out. I am pleased with this rug.

    I just received this rug and I absolutely love it. The rug is large and gorgeous. It is extremely soft and comfortable under my feet. The rug is durable and woven and is a great bronze color. I like that the rug is easy to spot clean and can be vacuumed as necessary. Its a substantial rug and feels like it is made of quality materials. Its recommended that rug pads be placed under the rug to help keep it in place and prevent it from slipping; however, so far it has stayed in place and I haven't had any issues yet. I highly recommend this rug. I love it. Great purchase!

    The color and design of this rug just gorgeous and looks awesome anywhere in your home. With autumn coming it's a good choice to make a home cozy. It feels good on bare feet and that's a must for me. It is a low pile and really easy to maintain. Truthfully I would love to have a much bigger one for my living room!!! Several different sizes in a living room, entry way and if possible a hallway rug. This color goes exceptionally well with wood flooring. Best of all its affordable to have more than one for your home. A good buy!
