Bedroom

For a bedroom, the rug should be placed under two-thirds of your bed and try to allow at least 2’ to 3’of the rug to show on each side of the bed. The rug should anchor the room’s largest piece of furniture. You can also decide if you want nightstands to be on the rug or stop before the nightstand’s front legs. If the rug is big enough, all legs of the bed should be on the rug.

Dining Room

In a dining room, the rug needs to be big enough to fit the table and chairs. Your rug should extend at least 24” past all edges of the table to avoid chairs getting caught on the edge of the rug.

For larger living rooms, it’s best to be able to comfortably fit all your furniture on the rug. For smaller living rooms that require the furniture to be against a wall, it’s best to choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of all of the furniture to rest on it.

It’s a nice rug. It feels like regular carpet material. Decently soft. It looks pretty much exactly like the photos. The colors are true to the photos as well. It’s kind of thin and doesn’t seem like a super high end option but it’s a decent one for a lower traffic area.

    I love this gorgeous rug from Liora Manne that's made in shades of gold, grey, beige, and ivory on a terracotta background with gray accents. All the colors are muted, and they blend together wonderfully. I've been looking for a longer but not wider rug to go under our dining room table for quite a while now, and I've finally found it.

    When I read in the listing information that you should use a rug pad under this, I intended to go order one right away, but something came up and I forgot, so I'll wait to put this down until the rug pad arrives. My dining table is very heavy, and no one wants to lift it twice.

    I did unfold the rug in the living room, where it was promptly taken over by my dog, but he relented when he saw me start to roll it up. The colors are beautiful, and the medallion is beautifully designed and colored, as is the entire rug. This would go with almost any color, and it's comfortable to walk and sit on the rug.

    The craftsmanship of this rug is excellent with a sturdy binding all around it. It's made of polypropylene and is low pile, and it was power loomed. The seller suggests that you vacuum it regularly and use dry powder on any spots that happen, and they also recommend having it professionally cleaned periodically. Mine won't see much foot traffic, unless I change my mind and put this rug in the living room, then put the rug that's already in the living room under the dining room table. It's a good thing I have a few days to think about that, since I'm waiting on a rug pad to arrive.

    Excellent product, a gorgeous Liora Manne 5'3" x 7'6" area rug with a medallion design. The rug is made of polypropylene, although you'd never guess that, and its colors are gold, grey, beige, and ivory on a terracotta background with gray accents. I've been looking for a rug in a larger size to put under my dining room table for a long time, and, unless I change my mind and put this in the living room, this beautiful rug will go under the table. The rug is stunning, the craftsmanship is excellent, and I've had absolutely no problems with it. I had forgotten that the seller recommended using a rug pad under this rug, though, so I'm waiting on that to come in, and then my dog and I will sit down and decide where to put this beautiful rug.

    Good looking rug for sure but it doesn't grip the floor. You must have underneath grips to keep this in place. .But it can take heavy trafficking areas and has a really nice design and looks good in a room. Cleaning will have to be done by hand. It feels good in bare feet. I give this pretty fair quality with a good price.

    This liora manné for Trans-Ocean rug is a step above most of the rugs in my house. It's the real deal, machine-loomed in Egypt, rather than the modern washable rugs I've gotten in the habit of using. Machine-washable rugs make life with pets easier, but loomed rugs look nicer.

    It's a pretty rug with colors that are just a tiny bit muted. The terracotta color in the pattern is especially pleasing to me because it matches my saddle-leather-colored chairs. The short yarn is soft and plush underfoot, but the rug is not very thick overall because it's meant to be used with a rug pad underneath. I'm just using an inexpensive rubberized mesh pad, which makes it stay in place and gives it a little extra cushion without being so thick that I trip on it.

    The material is 100% polypropylene, and I believe it will be as durable and stain-resistant as the manufacturer says it is. Care instructions recommend spot cleaning with a powder cleaner, frequent vacuuming, and occasional professional cleaning. My rugs tend to take a lot of abuse (again, pets) and so far this one looks like it will hold up well.

    This rug is very attractive. I like how the pattern and colors allows it to fit in with quite a few different color combinations. However, I differ with the claim that it's a plush rug. It is very, very thin. Not necessarily bad, but I'm a bit concerned about how lasting it will be. They suggest the use of a rug bad which I agree is absolutely necessary. Without a pad this thin rug will slip easily, in particular if on a smooth and hard surface floor such as in my home. It looks nice, but be careful of how you place this.

    I am really happy with this rug. It isn't very plush but low profile but the weave is nice. Love the colours and the way the rug looks overall. I should have measured first as I could have gone a size up.

    The rug seems well-made, decent materials and very attractive. It's soft, nice on bare feet and my cats love it too. Easy to vacuum and since its not overly large, I can take outside to shake as well. RV's seem to attract dirt! Overall, I am really pleased with this rug and would recommend.
