    Nice finish-note the mounting side has two small spikes or dimples to keep knob from turning. If you have hard wood like I did (Maple), you will need to drill small holes for these dimples or knob will not tighten in flush against the drawer. I tried tightening first without drilling and I stripped the mounting machine bolt. I had a spare knob so no issue but just be prepared. I am sure pine and other soft cabinets will just tighten down fine and make impression without drilling.

    We got two of these for bi-fold closet doors, and they feel like a good quality knob and look very nice. My only complaint is that they have two little barbs on the back that keep them from sitting flush against the door. I could see how they could maybe help keep it from spinning, but it was too much space for us. My husband ended up drilling a small hole in those spots so they would sink down and let the knobs sit flush against the door.
