I was excited for these, but have to return them. Was willing to take on the challenge of no template and varied screw placements. Ordered 1, 2 & 6. The 2 is closest to 4.5”. The 6 is 5”! Also, if you’re wondering why the “light is different” in the photo of the 6, it’s because it really does catch light differently and appear a different color. The polishing is not done vertically like it is on the 1 & 2. Bummed.

    Where is the mounting template? Seriously?? These numbers have been the bain of my existence. No mounting template, each one is a different size, impossible to get them lined up properly, I cannot see how anyone has successfully mounted these. The holes are in different spots depending on the number, there is zero consistency. What ever you do don't try to mount these in brick or cement, your asking for trouble. My numbers are 3820, I tried to use a clear graph paper to make a template but it is still off. Maybe the people that have had success have addresses like 111, but at least for mine it is impossible. You can get modern numbers at Home Depot or Lowes for a 3rd of the price and they come with a template. Those work fine. These are terrible. I have wasted so much time trying to get these lined up properly and I got straight A's in geometry back in high school. A client of mine bought these and it was up to me to mount them (I'm a real estate agent and pretty handy) I have just about given up. huge frustration. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

    I love these house numbers... Good quality, they have some weight. The size is perfect. My house is rather contemporary and these look very modern. I had someone else attach them to the coil stock at the edge of the porch and it took him about 2 minutes with a cordless drill. Love love them, would definitely buy again.

    Quality build, but no mounting template. Well, I thought I would go to the manufacturers website and surely they would have a mounting template - Nope. Every other brand that I have purchased has mounting template. It took me an hour to try and create my own template, but it was imperfect and managed to get the mounting holes close. Why is there no mounting template? Made installation very slow and awkward.
