These have a beautiful nickel finish on then and feel very solid - not hollow. I saw these at a local hardware store, but they were much more expensive then online. I do have one issue with them though, which is they each have a small point on the back side which is there to help secure them so that they don't spin over time. We had looked at other knobs and many of them didn't have these points but were flush. So, while installing them I tried using a regular philipps screwdriver. My concern was that I was not able to get enough torque on them to sink the point into my cabinet door. I ended up using a drill to secure the screw to the handle and to get the point to pierce the cabinet door so the knob was flush/flat on the door face. I'm not sure if I could have made the point sink into the cabinet without the power of the drill. We had the knobs on now for about six months and I'm not seeing any spin or movement which is good.
