This is a nice door pull for a modern decor and a tie-in to a specific color in the room. I put on a metal louvered sliding closet door, so I used a washer to make it tight (the metal is much thinner than the expected wood cabinet door, so there was more screw than needed for metal). Good quality, looks nice. It is worth noting that many existing pulls tend to have round bases (this one's is rectangular) so they may leave a round base mark that is not covered by this pull's base -- so you may want to paint the door before changing out the hardware.
