What length pull do you need? Pick the pull length in scale to your cabinet doors and drawers.
Pantry cabinets
Elongate the lines of tall pantry cabinets with pulls 8", 12" or longer. Pantry doors are heavier than other cabinet doors, and longer pulls make them easier to open. Place pulls at elbow height for maximum function.
Tall upper cabinets
Upper cabinets tend to have taller doors and look best with longer pulls 6" to 8" in length. Shorter cabinets above appliances call for pulls 3" to 5" long.
Lower cabinets
Lower base cabinet doors are most balanced with pulls 5" to 7" in length. Cabinet doors without a drawer above can handle longer pulls. For drawers, we recommend pulls that are about half the total length of the drawer.
Wide drawers
Wide drawers are easier to open with longer pulls from 8" to 12" long, or with 2 smaller pulls spaced evenly on the drawer.
