I was originally going to the order the matching buffet. However the item was repeatedly on back order. I decided to instead find a complimentary piece. I'm glad that I did. This buffet absolutely evokes glam. It matches the theme for my formal dining room. I was hugely concerning about the shipping with the item being heavily mirrored. However the packaging was superb! The piece arrived intact.

The four stars (instead of 5) are attributed to a few things. The depth could have been even a couple inches deeper. There are a few dishes that could not be housed in the cabinets. Also the silver wood finish could have been better. Fortunately the glam of the mirrors overshadows that imperfection. The drawers could have been on slides instead of wood on wood. Lastly...if you're going to make a glam piece...glam it all the way. The knobs that come with this unit was oh so plain. You can see the difference in the comparison of the original knob sitting atop the buffet vs the knobs with which I replaced it. That little change made a huge difference. Just be sure not to tighten too much ... for fear of cracking the mirrors. I trade lightly re-tightening vs cranking it down and cracking the mirror. Maybe some loctite will solve this.
