My wife selected this light to replace a cheap ceiling light the contractors installed in a bedroom. That light was small, dim, and wholly unimpressive. In contrast, this light is well over a foot in diameter, accepts up to a 100 watt bulb, and adds elegance to a room without appearing ostentatious.
This is a well made light. It was well packed and included many extras. Among these are two quick links to connect the chain to the lamp and to the hanger, matching decorative hanger cover/canopy, and additional crystals and capiz shells to replace broken pieces. Ours arrived with one capiz shell that detached on the bottom. Normally I would have tried to fix it, but with the extra pieces I was able to just replace it.
Installation was quick and easy. We put in a 60W equivalent LED bulb and it provides sufficient light for a ~10'x10' room, hanging about 3' from the ceiling. It also looks nice when afternoon sunlight filters in through the window.
