    The frame of light fixture casts a shadow directly beneath it. I solved the problem by taking the frame apart, reversing it, thereby turning the bottom into the top. The light now has even illumination over the sink, and the shadow over the fixture is not a problem, and presents as intentional.

    It is a very contemporary and handsome fixture.

    I recommend useing a dimmer as a light switch.
