After three years I’ve replaced the bulbs multiple times. Every time careful to not touch the glass bulb. Even so, they seem to burn out after a couple of months. The last time I went to change one of the bulbs there was soot residue over the burnt out bulb that extended to the wall above the fixture. I will be replacing this fixture. I give three stars because I love the design. I just think 300 watts of halogen is too much for this small fixture.
