I bought this light fixture to replace an older model by Access that was very similar to this new one. The fixture looks very nice, has a great finish, and is of high quality with one exception. The base is flimsy and causes the hanging rods to twist but you can put pressure on them to get them aligned straight. The lamp heads are very solid but again, the whole fixture twists when you try to put the bulbs in.
The unit comes unassembled so that you can add the right lengths of rods. I think that this is a clever way to provide a range of hanging depth. It takes a little patience to string the 8 wires through the narrow rods but it can be done.
There are two “heads” at the top of the rods that have a swivel mechanism with slots so that you can mount this fixture on a slanted ceiling. Luckily my installation was on a flat ceiling. I wanted to align the slots in the same direction as you would do for a slanted ceiling installation for a better look. I eventually gave up because it was impossible to do that and have them tightened against the rods.
I like this fixture but you need patience to do the installation and alignment.
