    Like the previous reviewer, we liked the piece. In fact the home we were putting it in had one exactly like it. It took us a while to find an exact match, but were happy to find one at Amazon, sold by Amazon. Like the previous reviewer, it came with two of the globes shattered. This was clearly due to poor packaging. Since this is a vacation home I thought I would go ahead and mount the piece and call Amazon and get the globes that were broken. Apparently this was not possible as the person I spoke to told me the only option was for me to re-box the whole thing and return it. I tried to explain that not only had it already been mounted, but due to the poor packaging I feared that the next one would arrive broken also. It took me ~1 hour to find a supplier that would sell the globes @ ~$6 bucks each, but ~$25 with shipping - not fun.

    This is a unique fixture. It's much longer than most other track fixtures out there and the rail from which the five heads hang is sleek. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged in so many places that I never completely unwrapped it, knowing that I was going to be returning it to Amazon. The more I unwrapped it, the more damage was revealed. As I began unpacking the fixture, I discovered a broken lens rattling around the box-- a circular glass disk that arrived in two semi-circular pieces. At one end of the track the amber glass head appeared to have a chunk "bitten" off it. The head at the opposite end contained a broken socket, creating a potential safety hazard, if it even worked at all (which I will never know).

    Whether these damages are the result of shoddy manufacturing or careless packaging at the factory (in a crumbling foam box) is difficult to determine but it doesn't matter to customers, for whom the result is the same: damaged goods. This is disappointing because, from what I could tell from the unwrapped sections that were intact, the unit is really quite striking in appearance.

    Amazon as yet get the understanding that a glass light fixture need to have it's own packing side of the manufactures box. Each replacement order as had damage glass housings. Better to shop else were they would pack it better.

    For the light fixture, it perfect and look great. I normally don't make reviews. Only if services for getting the item is trash.

    I have one already in the house which I like. This one that I am ordering is to match the one I have

    The problem is that I have ordered two so far, and both have arrived broken, due to poor packaging.
    The quality is fine, and it is very attractive, for the one I already have.
    I am ordering a third one now as a replacement for the ones that arrived broken, and hopefully the 3rd time is a charm.

    Hi everyone, I do love this comet spotlight by access lighting. I have a similar product - a 2 bulb floor lamp. My only problem is that I cannot figure out how to change the bulb. There is glass covering this bulb and we can't get the glass out to try to get the burnt out bulb out. HELP!?! please if anyone has tips, please post a note. thanks!!
