I purchased these pendants for our kitchen, which has a place for 2 lights above the main workspace. These lights are directly in front of 2 windows. They are, for the price, simply awesome. I looked for pendants for awhile - on many different sites. My requirements: near the $100 price mark, simple/clean lines - mid-century look, diffused light, and covered wire. I have a "thing" about pendants that hang from the wire only. To me they appear cheap. So, this was the main reason I picked these. They drop from a covered, stainless pole and they emit the perfect amount of light. I use halogen bulbs which create a subtle and beautiful radial pattern.
I've received tons of compliments on these - even from passing-by neighbors! We live in a mid-century home, and they really play up that style nicely without being over-the-top.
