    Building a new home so bought these months in advance. As they say "if it's too good to be true..." Sure enough the electrician opened the boxes (I bought 2) and noted that one fixture had cracked glass. And one fixture had the standard light bulb housing and the other had the type where posts of the bulb are inserted and then twisted to seat so two different bulb types needed. Very disappointing.

    I bought 3 for the island lighting in my kitchen. They provide very adequate lighting and I added a dimmer for ambience which is quite charming and this is a very good light for the price. The mesh around the glass light is not as finished as I would have preferred, but it looks OK and I'm happy with the purchase.

    We hung (4) of these in the kitchen of our new home. The look and artful finish on these is excellent, if your taste is contemporary. They are more detailed than most other pendants we looked at. Definitely 'upgrade' everything else in the kitchen-- match the stainless Kohler sinks and Electrolux ovens, granite counters, etc. Not cheap, but still, considering the quality and look, an excellent value. If I had more places to hang some of these, I would!
