    I was actually shocked by how durable this light turned out to be. I put this as an outside light to a basement door, and the height of the light does subject to open rain and other elements. So far, I really like it. I placed a 100W Daylight CFL for the bulb, being exterior, and I don't have any issues with light loss. Overall, it holds up to the elements, and is a quality product.

    The quality level of this obviously asian made lamp is marginal. If you never had to change a light bulb and deal with opening it up after you installed it then it would be great, but that's not the case. The gasket does not fit well and the flanges for the cage mounting screws are undersized and ill-designed. Like I said, it was a cheap solution so I made my own made.
