This wonderful fixture is well worth its modest price and more. The finish was even and very sophisticated looking. With every necessary part included, there was no rush to the spare parts bin for anything.
When I put the diffuser on, it fit snug and smooth, and gave a much better light than the hanging fixture of 1940 that it replaced.
The socket was ceramic, not plastic, and sturdy. Wires were pre-stripped, and wire nuts were included.
It was much better looking than I expected.
