    This is for Fanimation Kute fan series, not for a Fanimation fan unlike other reviewer stated. Read what part you need wxactly before you order.

    So the light kit is fine, good quality, installation was a breeze and all works as designed. Provides enough light in our bedroom. The only complaint is it is too expensive for a bunch of LEDs on a small board and few pieces of painted metal and plastic. It is not worth to me more than $40 in retail. However Fanimation decided to rip off their clients with this light kit add on, which should have been in the fan package to begin with. Shame. Unfortunately you have no choice here if you have their fan and need a light kit added. Wait for a sale. That is what I did and got it for 20% off standard price.

Second, for the $100 price tag it shouldn't be made of flimsy plastic that rattles unless constantly tightened. Ended up sending back the fan due to helicopter noises (on both the 3 and 5 blade models) so thankfully this was no longer needed.
