    I love the clean simple lines of this fan. I needed a fan that was understated so other fixtures in the room would be the center of attention and this fan is perfect. It’s very solidly made, silent and works great! As others mentioned there is a slight gap at the ceiling which could be improved, but it’s a minor detraction. Insulation was challenging. It’s difficult to fit the remote box and all the wires in such a small space, but once it’s up it’s worth the trouble.

    After 1 year of summer only use, a blade broke off and flew against the house. This was installed on a covered porch, never exposed to direct rain or sunlight. It had been running smoothly with no vibration and was professionally installed. It just plain failed. Glad nobody got hurt because it did make a big dent in the exterior trim.

    Update: Customer Service is sending a replacement set of blades at No Charge.
