This Fanimation "close to ceiling kit" was exactly what I needed to install a Fanimation Wrap ceiling fan and it's quite easy to install, but ... The drawings of this product on Amazon are *very* misleading! The kit comes with two different bases for installing the fan at two different distances from the ceiling. Only one of these bases is used in an installation. The drawings of this product on Amazon show the two bases stacked on top each other and the measurements given in the item listing are for the two bases stacked, yet they cannot be installed that way! To be clear, the kit comes with two different height bases, you use one of the two in the installation and throw the other one away.
Otherwise a very well made product that was exactly what I needed to clean up the install of my Fanimation ceiling fan.
