Our ceilings are 9ft tall, and I think it fits nicely in our space. The description is misleading, it does not actually come with the bulbs, so that part was a bummer.

    I like the fixture itself, but it was sent to me defected. My electrician who installed it is 90% sure that it was returned because of a wiring problem and then sent back out to me. The ground wire had been broken off. Luckily the electrician was able to fix it but it cost him more time...and me more money to fix the problem.
