The photos do not do justice for this chandelier and I will explain why/how. We bought this chandelier and another that was far less money. I was sure I'd like the less expensive one but once they both came in. WOW! This has a texture that does not allow that shine that reflects light form the black metal. So you get a rich 'non-reflecting' black metal look and feel. It has a beautiful presense. I am SO HAPPY with this chandelier. I normally enjoy saving a few $$$ but it was obvious for me and my husband that we had to keep this one. You have to see it in person.
