I love this lite for over my sink! Purchased when there were no reviews and so glad I did. I love the super clean lines and the white glass shade is a crisp white, not cream. It is a thick heavy glass and the frosted exterior keeps it from glowing harsh light, even with a bright 5000 bulb. Comes with several black rod lengths, one of which worked perfectly for me. Love that the bulb will be easy to replace. Not sure I’d use over a dining table though as what makes the bulb easy to replace is what might also cause it to be too glaring if you were directly underneath it (bulb exposed). It’s traditional yet modern, which has helped update my 1990s wooden cabinet kitchen a bit. Was easy for my handyman to install. Purchased 4 months ago and no issues thus far.

    This light is gorgeous. I used it semi-flush over my kitchen sink, but I think it could work in a different room just as beautifully. The brass isn’t overly gold or shiny. It has a muted “antiqued brass” look and is well-made. It would also look great if used as a pendant light.
