This table fits the purpose for which I was looking. The cherry finish is nice but is probably a thin spray-on application. The two drawers hide all the little stuff that one wants handy but unseen (kleenex, pen, notepad, small flashlight, magnifying glass for text that gets smaller as I get older, etc.). My one and only complaint is the length of the two drawers. Space is available to make them about 5" longer (thus 4 stars instead of 5). The Butler Specialty Company Marcus Side Table was expensive and to make the drawers shorter in length is a design disappointment. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase.
