This fixture does not fit a standard outdoor post. Luckily for me, my licensed electrician was able to remove what Vaxcel calls the "fitter" from the old fixture to replace the non-comforming fitter on the new fixture. My electrician told me that usually the fitter is loose on the post hence the reason for fitter screws to hold the fixture in place on the post. Unfortunately, this added an additional hour to my electrician's bill.
