These look great with our fireplace and really class this old farmhouse up.

      This is a beautiful light kit and was an easy install on my Hampton bay Altura2 fan. Vaxcel told me this would not fit but I already had it on order. The plug on the fan that operates the light with the blue and white wire had to be removed and attached to the black and white wires on the light kit. The remote operates light and fan flawlessly. This is much nicer than the Hampton bay light kits.

      Love this light!! We are remodeling our log home & this light is perfect. It says it can be a fan replacement light but won't work on ours. It will go up as a ceiling light other side of the room but I would have really loved to have the same light in the fan over the bed. Very happy with this though & the oil rubbed bronze and creamy brown shades match the fan so we're good with that :)

      Now that these lights have been installed, I love them. There is no way I'd find this type of quality or styling at a local lighting store or a place like Lowe's/Home Depot. I looked for two full months before finding and ordering these fixtures. The design suits my Arts & Crafts house and the light is just the right size for the large rooms. It gives off a nice warm glow but still emits sufficient light, plus the design is very sweet, without being campy or cutesy. But the light is difficult to install; the mounting screws and grounding wire are very short and there is absolutely no room for error. I had to hold each fixture up while my contractor did the wiring and installed each lamp. So unless you are very handy or have a qualified electrician or contractor to assist you, I'd think twice. Otherwise, I'd give these fixtures all 5 stars.

      I purchased the Vaxcel CC55514BBZ Yosemite Flush Mount, 14", Burnished Bronze Finish. I called an electrician to install it, a few weeks later and when it was installed, the electrician found the finial would not screw in and the light would fall off the ceiling if it was not fixed. I contacted the company and they informed me that since it’s been 30 days since I had purchased it there’s nothing they could do. There was not even an option to order a replacement piece. As a result, I won’t be giving them my business again.
