Exactly what we needed to light up a dark area. I always worry coming down the stairs at night since we didn't have enough light to show each of the steps. This was exactly what we needed and I couldn't be happier. We have a log home and we live in the mountains where wild life is plentiful. So we chose the " moose" pattern which was absolutely perfect. You have a few options on how to mount this lamp. Either a ceiling mount or it includes a chain so you can hang it like a swag light. Which is what we went with. The communication with the seller was awesome too. I had a few questions they responded almost immediately. Shipping was fast and the lamp was packed very secure. Nothing broken and again I couldn't be more please. Buy this and you wont be disappointed.

    I love this light....but it was tough to install. The Amazon listing has a photo of just the fixture, so you'd assume it would mount directly to the electrical box in the ceiling. But actually they provide you 2 options: mount on a chain as a chandelier OR mount on a ceiling fan. If you want it directly on the ceiling, you have to buy a short nipple (3/4 or 1") and a coupler to make their threaded rod long enough to screw into the box. It was a royal pain, but the result is a good looking light.

    The first one of these that I received was badly scratched and nicked. I exchanged it for another which was in acceptable condition. Neither was packed in a manner that inspired confidence, and frankly, I think the fixture (purchased for a ceiling fan) was overpriced. The metal is thin and easy to bend. The stems to the lights themselves are not perfectly consistent with each other either. We decided to keep it because my better half likes how it looks quite a lot.
