After 31 years, we’ve begun updating our light fixtures. Installed this week, along with single pendant (at sink). I wanted the rigid down rod, replacing the previous light that was the old “chain link” single drop. We constantly had to keep it aligned with island.
We had surplus rod sections, and cut our excess wiring also. I only used the 4” and 9” rods for our location. I recommend feeding the wiring through down rod sections one section at a time before connecting threaded rod. I had put my rods together before inserting wiring, and wiring fills up down rods with “just enough space”…. My installation problems were from the existing electrical box anomalies, not because of light fixture. Parts and packaging were exemplary, and no deficiencies. Our selection is confirmed a “JUST RIGHT” - price and quality = VALUE. (We’re good for another 30 years 😉
