      The light I received had shipping damage so I ended up returning it and going with something else. But this is my impression from seeing and handling it before the return. The design was nice and elegant looking. BUT, it has a larger vertical and horizontal footprint than most 3-light vanities because of those decorative scrolls protruding from the bottom and sides. It would have been too big for my compact bathroom space and being so elegant it deserves to be mounted in a roomier setting. The paint finish was more silver in color than brushed nickel. Also the frosted glass had rough raised edges and may be noticeable if mounted in the down position. You won't notice it if mounted upwards but its something to be aware of.

      The metallic look is a light silver rather than a typical Brushed Nickel, having said that, it is quite gorgeous, unless you are a stickler for matching your metallic appearance, this is one nice fixture - it is delicate, slightly on the classical side, not something that will go out of vogue soon.
      I had it installed by professionals, so I can not speak to its ease of installation or otherwise.

      This really is a very pretty light, but I was not prepared for the size of the glass shades. At their largest points, they are 5 1/4" high and 7 1/8" wide, so they project from the wall quite a bit! (The specifications did not include information specifically on the shades.) Unfortunately, the shades cannot be replaced with other, smaller shades because of the way that they mount into the fixture. The light is much too big for my small bathroom, so I had to return it. Blue Marble Lighting, the vendor, was terrific about responding promptly to my questions and helping me with the return, but I still had to pay a 20% restocking fee as well as the S&H to return it.

      Looks nice for the price range but not as sturdy as I would have liked; once mounted that hasn't been an issue (just dust gently). 3 stars only as when mounted in a downward position, (1) edges around the bottom of the frosted glass "lily petal-like" covers have a noticeable unfinished ridge (probably from casting the piece in a mold) that cannot be sanded off (I tried!) - would not be noticeable if mounted upward; and (2) not completely "dimmable" - you can dim the light effectively but it may "hum" in certain positions, which can be annoying. On the plus side, over the bathroom mirror, it can give off A LOT of light when needed - and we are using just 3 60-watt bulbs, not 100 watt bulbs. Dimmable feature appreciated at night when you don't want a lot of bright "wake up!" light at bedtime.
