Comet Green Flare Hand Painted Original Art

This four piece series takes its inspiration from watching a rare and brief meteor shower one summer. The shades came to me as I wondered how the differing colors would play out as the comets raced through space toward some unknown destination. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because it is hand painted, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating black wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box.
