I actually ended up returning this mirror. So why did I still give it 5 stars?
It is a really lovely mirror. As soon as I received it, I opened it up and stuck it against the wall before installing to see how I liked it. The scrollwork is striking and it makes a strong statement. Slightly whimsical. Everyone who walked by my office noticed it and loved the design. I think it would be really beautiful installed on the wall.
So why, then, did I return it?
Probably my fault for not reading the description correctly, but this mirror is made from some kind of plastic resin or other very hard plastic. It is sturdy and well made, but I was looking for a metal mirror. It was quite a battle deciding whether or not I wanted to keep it because I received nothing but compliments on it, but in the end it just was not what I was looking for.
I am giving the product five stars because the mirror arrived VERY well packaged and very quickly. It is manufactured well and it is an extremely handsome piece. Perhaps this mirror and I will meet again in the next life, and we will live happily ever after; but until then, back to Amazon it goes.

I wasn't sure about the reviews, but I loved the look so I just went with it anyways. Mirror came packaged great nothing wrong. Someone said something about it being hard plastic. Well I love it! It works so well in our bathroom and it's the main peice.

This mirror is gorgeous! It's a good size, not too heavy, and looks amazing on my wall. This is a replacement order as the first mirror came shattered due to poor shipping practices from Fedex, but the replacement was boxed properly and the mirror was awesome.
