    We bought this light to replace a fixture in our upstairs hallway. This is beautiful, simple and gives off a great amount of light. Perfect for a transitional design aesthetic. The single complaint we have is that the installation was painful and needlessly complicated, worse than other Hinkley lights we’ve installed and definitely worse than most other brands. We’ve put up our fair share of lights in a 30yo, 5500 square-foot house, and have a lot of experience. This took my husband and me about an hour and a half to put up, which is more than it takes us for most lights. But as long as that doesn’t bother you, or if you don’t mind paying an electrician, it’s a gorgeous mid-sized flush-mount fixture.
