      I purchased this one as replacement to the set I have installed on my property. It was a replacement for one that the tree trimmers had hit with a chain saw. It had big cuts in it, but broke the class and looked like a porcupine, but it still worked. This model is the new version, so when you need to replace the light, you just pull out the old and press the new one in. My older version is a pain when you have to replace the light. You have to dig it up, and rewire the entire pathlight with the new parts. I don't know why they ever designed it that way. If I had unlimited money, I would replace them all with this model.

      Replaced some old sidewalk / driveway lights with these. They are solidly built and include a warm-white LED bulb. You do have to do some assembly (installing the bulb and the glass, screwing on the spikes, etc).

      These are somewhat shorter and throw light downwards, which means that you need more of them to cover a particular distance, but they also don't throw light all over the place giving a very targeted lighting setup. I personally liked this aspect but for a long path the cost can be significant.

      The only thing I had trouble with was caused by the fact that these are straight and geometric with 90 degree angles. It made it very obvious when they were not 100% plumb, not aligned 90 degrees from the sidewalk edge, etc. Each one took a few tries to get right. I previously had some curved, arc-based lights that were more forgiving about being slightly off plumb.

      This is a lovely, modern low-voltage light fixture that looks nice by my front walkway, but I am left wondering why it is priced over $150 at the time of my review. It's not THAT large or THAT special to justify a price over $100 in my opinion. It is lighter-feeling and a little smaller than I expected for the price range. However, if you've got the money, it is a nice choice. I like that the warm white light matches my other outdoor light temperatures. It comes with a generously long wire, wire nuts, a bulb, and a gel to use inside the nuts to keep things from getting too wet. You should be pretty pleased with it.
