      I am 33 year's in bussiness Mason here in Waco TX I rebuilt a damaged mailbox. The home owner was adamant about this light fixture they found on Amazon to his supprise it was plastic. The Build Quality Poor the Frame is Plastic, Not Metal!!!! Not worth $346.08. The suggested mounting base of $88.00 does not work with this light fixture.

      I absolutely LOVE the look of these lights (we bought 2). They look amazing! However, I have two complaints, which is why I gave them a 4 star...I looked and looked and maybe I’m blind but I COULD NOT find anywhere in the description saying that this product does NOT come with the light bulbs pictured. For how expensive the light is, you would think they would include the bulb. Another complaint, again, for how expensive they are, the material is cheap quality. The framing bends easily if you aren’t careful.

      I ran some maritime wiring from inside to a post where I had to replace the wiring and the light.

      First off, Hinkley is the top of lighting -- very good build quality, well-designed, and elegant. The price is higher compared to other generic models, but you're getting exactly what you paid for with this -- a premium lighting fixture.

      This withstood our New England winter well, and has gotten both compliments by friends/family as well as my wife for me not messing up the aesthetic. It's not any different than any other lamp post to install -- it functions perfectly and looks freat.

      The light has a very attractive design that will complement several styles nicely - mordern or more traditional - the light looks good. It is designed to fit on a post or pedestal, so you cannot expect this to replace a wall mounted light if that is what you are looking for. The construction is all metal and tempered glass, with the metal portions having been painted to weather outdoor conditions and the glass having a unique distressed look to it give it a more lantern type feel. As one reviewer mentioned, no bulb is included but you can fit a standard E27 type bulb but you will want one of the vintage styled one. It calls for a 100W bulb but you could save on power consumption using LED. Overall it's a nice lamp and will provide for a nice accent to your home's yard and outdoor appearance.
