      The design of this light, Hinkley Republic collection small wall mount lantern in satin nickel (1000SI), drew me in. It is unique and slightly modern, but can blend with various house facades. It is cheaply made though. The body is plastic that’s been painted silver. The first one I received was sent back because the plastic edges were jagged and uneven. The second one was better but not as perfectly smooth as I would expect at this price point. Also, be aware it does not come with a bulb. The packaging was sufficient to prevent damage, with the unit housed in a styrofoam “box”. It had to be disassembled for installation, which was easy but I was concerned about the screwdriver removing the silver paint on the screw heads. The instructions are in English, French, and Spanish, and easy to follow. There’s two screws needed to attach the backplate to the wall which are not included. Overall, I would suggest not paying $150 for this item.

      As others have noted, it feels very plasticky and cheap, it’s super lightweight, definitely not heavy duty metal construction. The price point is way too high for the seemingly low quality of the fixture. I do like the style however, it looks great.
