I ordered 4 Hinckley lights from my local lighting store at the same price as Amazon. Of the four, three had significant quality control problems and I returned the entire order for another brand.
On one light the Hinckley Name Plate - a badge of quality, no doubt - was on upside down.
On two of the lights the finish was scratched out of the box.
On another light there was paint on the glass.
On another light mounting parts were missing and would have to be special ordered from the company at a delay of a week or so.
These lights are pretty, no doubt about it.
But I had serious misgivings about the quality. If there are problems with assembly and finish, how good is the wiring? How long will they last?
I don't know, because I never hung these up.
This was my first and last purchase of a Hinckley product.
