Ready to go with room to grow! The Britax Poplar™ S convertible car seat takes the stress out of moving to the next car seat stage thanks to the patented ClickTight® installation and slim SpaceSaver™ design. This convertible car seat accommodates up to 50 lbs when installed rear-facing, allowing your child to ride rear-facing longer. It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. The baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit, and the removable infant insert provides extra comfort on the go. The car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver technology designed to fit 3-across* without compromising on Britax safety and premium comfort. The car seat boasts a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. Car seat cover fabrics are naturally flame-retardant with no added FR chemicals, and they’re safe to machine wash and dry time and again. *Britax cannot guarantee 3-across installation fitment in all vehicles

Great car seat
I saw some reviews that the shoulder pads don’t come off, which would make them hard to clean, but I just received mine and the pads are Velcro (see photos), so it’s very easy to remove and clean them. Overall, I love this seat. It’s easy to install, comfortable, and includes an anti-rebound bar. We use it as our travel car seat (we have the Nuna Exec and the Clek Foonf as our daily beasts and those are great too, but way bulkier to travel with). We also have a Graco Extend2Fit that we’ve used for travel, but it doesn’t have an anti-rebound bar, so I consider this our best travel car seat so far.

    I will say that installing this car seat at first was a bit difficult and confusing for me, but I watch Britax’s video tutorials on youtube which helped. Now that I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times, I find it very easy. I love the click tight under the seat, it works great. The car seat is so secure and doesn’t move an inch. I find the adjustments very easy to use as well. It is very cute, and fits decently in my compact sedan (Chevy Cruze). It seems pretty comfy too.
    I, thankfully, can’t actually attest to the safety of this car seat, but Britax is highly rated in that department from what I’ve read. And I did a lot of reading before making my purchase.
    Overall, I really do like this car seat and recommend it. First time installation was difficult, but once you figure it out it is much easier. 👍🏻

    This is a wonderful car seat. We have tried several car seats over the past couple of years because we have a lot of young children, and this has been my absolute favorite for rear-facing. It has a narrow profile, making it possible for 3 across. I like the anti-rebound bar. Installation is so quick and easy. It is a good seat to put behind a tall driver or a passenger who wants leg room because it is not very tall like some other narrow car seats we have tried. The price is not bad, especially compared to some higher end car seats. Overall, this is an amazing car seat.
