Unfortunately, there isn’t a workaround if your kid maxed out the top of head clearance. The solution is to get a different seat. If I were you I’d go to Target, Nordstroms, Dillards, or any other store in your area with car seats on display and have your daughter sit in different car seats until you find one she fits in.

Can you share weight, height, and torso height, age?
I have a child with a very large head that still fit at 4, while I have seen some kids max it out by an inch above their head I definitely not seen that happen
