One4Life takes your child from birth to big kid with Britax Safety and ClickTight Installation. It easily converts from rear-facing infant car seat, to forward-facing 5-point harness, to high-back belt-positioning booster. The Cool N Dry fabric improves air flow for a cooler ride. Made with 30% bamboo charcoal, it wicks away moisture to help keep your child dry. ClickTight is as easy as buckling a seat belt, so you can install with confidence, every time. Color-coded belt paths show you where to route the seat belt for each installation mode. Plus, easy-read indicators help you find the correct recline angle. A high strength steel frame, crumple zone, and V-shaped tether help absorb crash energy. And, 2 layers of side impact protection surround your child’s head, neck and torso.     A solid carseat that grows with your child. I preferred a dedicated infant seat when my child was younger but starting between 1-2 years this seat works great. You can't ignore the price - it's expensive, and it really should be cheaper--and for that I can't give it 5 stars. The chair is solid and quite large so make sure you have enough room like in an SUV... a smaller car, I don't know. It was very easy to install and once everything is sinched down it doesn't go anywhere. I sprung for the anti-roll bar for extra protection but again that was pricey, especially when I believe there is a competitor that includes it (though theirs is plastic while this one is steel which is another reason I went this route). The cool n dry fabric seems to do what it's designed for... it's a little hard to tell since my child is not old enough to know or express the difference - but again, an added cost to an already expensive chair. I'd like to believe my child is safer in this chair but there is no real independent testing to tell you for sure and I sure hope I never have to find out for myself. Less important than all of that it really is a good looking chair.

    Get it, love it, and don't look back. This is our second Britax after going through a few different car seats for our first born. Once we got the first Britax ClickTight, we were going with no other options for the newest child. Only two things some may not like - the loud aesthetic of the safecell section and English directions are only printed on one side, but everything else good outshines that one minor design flaw. The ClickTight system is the best. Cupholders are nice. Kids stay comfy and safe.
