    I want to give this five stars, I really do. However, there's one problem I have and not sure if this is typical with this brand or if the car seat I received is defective.

    Pros: the seat is the easiest car seat to install, ever! It's a breeze and I no longer get sweaty and flustered, and lose my temper...ha! It takes 1 minute or less to install! Next, the seat has tons of leg room and extra padding to support the head, so the head of the child doesn't flop right and left when they fall asleep. It's super comfortable and I feel like my child is better protected in the head area. The cup holders are nice and make a great place for stashing teethers!

    Cons: the seat belt straps are incredibly hard to get adjusted and snug against my child. I have had several car seats and the belts/straps have all flowed smoothly and were easy to get tight/snug around my child. This seat is different though and I have to really pull hard, several times, before the belt feels even remotely close to where it should be, and even then I'm not sure it's tight enough which leaves me worried. The material the belt is made of is very different from other brands of car seats, so I'm wondering if that's what is causing the belt to be so difficult to get tight.

    Overall, I do prefer this car seat to our last one because the seat stays locked into the correct position in the car and doesn't start sliding around with movement from the child, like our previous car seat did. The click tight technology is just a real blessing!

    Update: I knocked off 2 stars. 2 months later and I’m returning it. It was only used about 5 times. I love how easy it is to install, but it’s just too hard to tighten. I thought it would be okay even with it being difficult to tighten, but it’s a hassle. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis and she couldn't tighten it. I didn’t feel safe leaving this car seat with her to use. My husband is a child passenger safety tech and he even said it’s hard to tighten. It’s still the easiest it install. I really wanted to like this, but I went back to the Clek. Keeping it at 3 stars because it’s a safe seat, comfortable, and easy install. Just not for us.

    I’ve owned Graco, Chicco, Clek. Hands down, the Britax click tight is the easiest install over all other three brands mentioned. Took me 1 min. If you plan on moving the car seat a lot, I would get it over any other brand. I use the Clek in my car, but it’s so expensive and I couldn’t justify spending $450 for only a couple more years. I bought this for my husbands truck and to switch to my parents car. I feel comfortable with my mom, 66 years old, installing this, even though she isn’t knowledgeable about car seats or installing them. The fabric feels thick and comfy. I also got the anti-rebound bar, I love having that option. The handle bar for carrying it was convenient, too. The shoulder pads stay put and don’t slide down because of how it’s attached to the fabric. Genius. I just got it, but the only downside, so far, is the harness is a bit hard to loosen/tighten. I’m okay with that, though. If I have any other cons, I’ll update the review.

    I like that you can use this product for multiple years. It is very heavy but does have a steel frame. It can be difficult to take apart for cleaning and it takes a few times to be able to remember how to put it back together. Takes up quite a bit of seat space. Would not recommend if you need to sit three car seats wide.

    I have had this car seat for a few months installed rear facing. I have installed an reinstalled serval times it seems to get loose a shift often. The straps also are very tight and are hard to tighten all the way. I am looking at potentially returning this one.

    At first I loved this car seat, but my kiddo had a pretty bad problem of getting car sick sometimes. After taking off the pads, it is almost impossible to get them back on and the pads have definitely have not lived up to the 10+ year promise. These pads lasted for maybe a year tops before they started to show wear and tear. I love the mechanism of installation. It is honestly the easiest install ever... but it looks awful, and is probably uncomfortable and not safe to use now that the pads refuse to stay on properly at all. Trying to get a hold of the company is a bust to figure out how to buy another set of pads (because they are not for sale anywhere else)...

    Now looking at getting another seat because this seat is basically unusable now that the pads make this unsafe to use.

    We bought one of these a couple years back with our first daughter and moved her into it from a car seat with click in base (also BRITAX.) We liked it so much that we wanted a matching for our newest daughter.

    The weight to these things are impressive. They are quite heavy so I wouldn’t recommend moving them a ton but they are very sturdy. The padding is very thick and the material is very soft and easy to clean.

    The girls are always very comfortable in these. We just took a vacation 9hrs each way and our oldest (3) did not complain once about comfort.

    We have been long time Britax purchasers, starting with the B-safe cowmooflauge set with 3 wheel stroller, then the first one4life, then double stroller with car seat click in, and now the second one4life. We have never had issues and everything always seems well built and worth the money.

    Highly recommend to any new parents that are wondering if they are worth the extra money over the ones found in stores.
