  6. How did we get our start?

    BOB Gear began in 1994 when Roger Malinowski, a bicycle industry maven, met Philip Novotny, an airline mechanic. Together, they brought an innovative bike trailer to the masses.

    When Roger and Philip began to start families, they were inspired to design and build a jogging stroller that held the same high standards as their trailers.

    I love this BOB handlebar console because it is specifically made for jogging strollers so it does not swing back and forth like some of the other consoles do. It is easy on/off with the velcro, but also very sturdy. It has 2 spots for bottles and then one spot in the middle for snacks or keys, etc. I use it with my Thule Urban Glide. I did not like the one that Thule has, so I decided to take a chance on this one and love it! So I want to share, that it does fit on the Thule Urban Glide handlebar!! It was also much cheaper than the Thule version and fits bottles better.

    This works great and is very functional for my single Bob stroller. I wish I would have gotten it sooner as it is so hardly for my Stanley cup, keys, dog leash, and phone. I almost wish the strollers would come with something like this at the original time of purchase. I was afraid of it not being sturdy enough to support a 40oz Stanley, but it does great.     Fits the Bob stroller as made/expected. Wish the cup holders were larger in diameter for some of the bigger cups. Also wish the center storage pocket was deeper (can't fit much in it if you really want to zip it closed; there's nothing that it would interfere with if it were deeper since it can'tbe wider). If either of these would happen, larger cellphones would fit better too. Nice accessory to have, but should come standard with a stroller.
