I love the look of this chandelier. (I bought 3.) It is heavy--metal not plastic. The packaging was excellent and when I removed it from the box, I saw that the arms that hold the lights could be adjusted easily to get the correct spacing. We used a metal measuring tape to get the distance between the arms equal. I really like the bubbles in the glass, although there were varying amounts of bubbles. I sorted the 15 glass shades, putting the most bubbles in chandelier #1, 2nd most bubbles in chandelier #2, and least bubbles in the 3rd chandelier which hung closer to the ceiling. Seriously, I would have liked more bubbles, but they look very nice hanging. The Edison style light bulbs don't put out tremendous amount of light and we will probably change over to 100 watt bulbs that are frosted. I am happy with these lights.
