These pendants don't put out a lot of light with 60 watt edison bulbs (the highest wattage I could find), but they look fantastic. The quality is high and they hang straight. They look really sharp, and we have received many complements on them. We have three over our kitchen island. It's also difficult to find replacement edison bulbs that are the correct size (the ones I bought were an inch too long). You could always use regular clear 100 watt bulbs if you want more light.
